Pociarello Vecchio is a historic farmhouse in the Italian hills, converted into a fine vacation home for up to 10 adults and 2 children. The house is located on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, halfway between Rome and Florence. From the house you can easily make day trips to for example Perugia, Orvieto, Florence, Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, Montalcino, Assisi, Siena, Arezzo and Lake Trasimeno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The house is completely private, on a beautiful Italian hill with its own vineyard and olive grove. The entire estate offers spectacular views over a quiet valley with fields and woods. The house has a beautiful garden with an infinity pool which, because of its organic shape, blends beautifully into the lush garden. There is also a large sun terrace with sun loungers and a tennis court. There are several terraces to sit back an relax, including one sheltered under the porch with a large wooden table and wood-fired pizza oven. Everywhere you will experience maximum privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n

The house was restored about 20 years ago by craftsmen using old building materials. The original antique terracotta floors, fireplace and wooden beams, complemented by bright and modern elements, create a serene atmosphere. The layout makes the house very suitable for a family or a large group. There are a total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with a large round table and a sitting room with fireplace in the main house and another small sitting room with a sofa bed (suitable for up to 2 children) in the guest house. This room can also be used as a study. Throughout the house there is a free to use high speed wifi connection.<\/p>\n

The nearest village is Piegaro at 5 km; here you will find some stores like a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store and a bar. The beautiful Citt\u00e0 della Pieve is 8 km away, with a wide choice of various restaurants and stores. Lake Trasimeno is 25 km away.<\/p>\n
